ABOUT ÁLEX BAENA
Professional attacking midfielder and athlete that was originally signed by Villarreal CF as a teenager in the year 2020. Since then, he has also played for the Spanish men's national team. In addition to playing the position of attacking midfielder, he also plays the position of left winger.
He first began playing soccer as a kid with the Roquetas Sports Club. He was just six years old at the time.
He scored his first career international goal while playing against the Cyprus men's national team during the 2024 UEFA Euro qualifiers. He and Team Spain won the match with a score of 6-0. He stands five feet, nine inches tall.
He was born and raised in Roquetas de Mar, Spain.
He played alongside Raul Albiol as a member of Villarreal CF during the 2024 La Liga club season.
