His May 12, 2022 video "YOUNG THUG: YSL GANG TAKEN DOWN BY RICO INDICTMENT" has received over 450,000 views. He was incarcerated with 19 felony sentences, which earned him the title of a six-figure felon.

He made his YouTube debut on May 11, 2019 in a video entitled "FLORIDA PRISON TEST OF HEART," which recounts his time in prison.

At the age of 18, a plea deal left him with only four Felonies and a 36-month prison sentence in the state of Florida. The majority of his early videos discussed life in the Florida prison system. His previous profile picture was an image taken of him at the age of 19, with a large laceration on his face due to a fight in prison.
