Ethiopian pop singer famous for her songs "Yeena Hebasha," "Messay," and "Guragew." Her video for "Yene Habesha" received over 65 million views. Her songs are in both Amharic and English.
Her first single, "Yene Habrsha," was released in 2015.
She appeared in the 2012 film Eyerus. She was nominated by the Kora All-Africa Music Awards in 2016 for Best Traditional Female Artist for Africa. She took part in the Addis Ababa Concert 2.
Her parents were born in Ethiopia before moving to Dallas, Texas.
She and Mahmoud Ahmed are both popular singers from Ethiopia.
