ABOUT ABIDA PARVEEN

Legendary singer, vocalist, musician, entertainer, artist, composer, songwriter, and performer who is often referred to as the "Queen of Sufi music." In addition to her music career, she has also gained recognition from being in multiple television and films.

She initially discovered her passion music as a young girl growing up. She eventually began her professional music career during the 1970s.

In 2020, she was given the PISA Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also once given the Hilal-e-Imtiaz Award, which is considered the second-highest honor in Pakistan. In the year 1984, she was honored with Pakistan's Presidential Pride of Performance award.

Her and her husband, Ghulam, got married in the year of 1975. While together, they had three children.

She given the 2012 Hilal-e-Imtiaz Award by former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari .
