Actress and director known for playing Detective Abigail Baker in the television series Blue Bloods . Her first screen role was as Samantha Bonner in the television series Reality Check.
She attended the North Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences, in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In 2004, she received a bachelor of fine arts in theatre from the University of Maryland .
In 2016, she played Ellie in Domenica Cameron-Scorsese's directorial debut Almost Paris. For that role, she won the Best Actress award at the 2017 Golden Door Film Festival.
She was born in Chicago Illinois. In April 2009, she married Bryan Spies.
In Blue Bloods, her character is the primary aide to Police Commissioner Frank Reagan played by Tom Selleck .
