Adam Marušić

ABOUT ADAM MARUšIć

Professional soccer player and athlete who is known for his time at the Italian team Società Sportiva Lazio. He also played as a defender for the Montenegro national team. He also played for Belgian teams Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk and Koninklijke Voetbalclub Oostende.

In the year 2010, he joined the Serbian team Fudbalski klub Voždovac.

In October of 2023, he and his family were allegedly threatened at gunpoint in the streets of Serbia. On July 1, 2017, Marušić was signed on a five-year contract by Lazio. He scored his first goal for the club on 24 September, in a 3-0 away win over Hellas Verona.

In December of 2019, he and his wife attended the SS Lazio Christmas dinner at SpazioNovecento in Rome, Italy.

In March of 2015, he made his debut for the Montenegro national team in a match that was suspended after a flare struck Russian goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev .
