ABOUT ADAM VERNIER
Actor, entertainer, artist, and performer who played the role of Sheriff Guidry on the series Queen Sugar . He played Gavin on the series Outer Banks and Officer Tuttle on the series Outcast . He has also appeared in several other television series like The X-Files , NYPD Blue , Malcolm in the Middle , Homeland , Burn Notice , and Bloodline .
At age five, his mother sent his photo to a casting call for a feature film. He auditioned for the film, but was ultimately the second choice for the part of Danny in The Shining .
He earned a theatre degree at Southwest Missouri State University. He was in several films like 2001's Dr. Doolittle 2 and 2003's Black Cadillac. He is also a notary public in the State of Florida and has performed wedding ceremonies.
He has two children.
He was in the Disney + series The Right Stuff which starred Patrick J. Adams and Jake McDorman .
