ABOUT ADEM BONA

Nigerian-born basketball star and athlete who was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2024 NBA draft. Prior to this, he played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. In the year 2020, he moved to the United States and played basketball at Prolific Prep in Napa, California.

At the young age of 13, he moved to Turkey with his mother and began playing organized basketball.

He averaged 10.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.7 blocks in 66 games at UCLA. He was honored as the 2024 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. He stands six feet, eight inches tall and weighs just under 250 pounds.

He is the youngest of his five siblings including two brothers and two sisters.

He was UCLA's first player selected by the Philadelphia 76ers since Jonah Bolden was picked in the 2017 NBA draft.
