ABOUT AHMED KHALIL

Emirati forward known for playing with Shabab Al Ahli in the UAE ADNOC Pro League. He has also played with the UAE national team. He is known for being a high goal scorer.

He began playing for Shabab Al Ahli when he was eight years old. He moved up from the youth team to the senior team for the 2006-2007 season. He joined the UAE U17 national team in 2004. He moved up to the senior level in 2008.

In 2010, he was named the Best Young Athlete Player of the Year by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award. In 2015, he was named Asian Footballer of the Year.

He was born in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. His father is Khalil Sebait Mubarak Al-Junaibi.

He has been teammates with Abdulla Saif Belhasa on the UAE national team.
