ABOUT AIDAN MARK DODSON
Historian and Egyptologist known for his numerous books and articles on various topics relating to ancient Egypt. He has been consulted for television documentaries such as Egypt's Lost Cities and Egyptian Journeys with Dan Cruickshank. His books include Tutankhamun, King of Egypt: His Life and Afterlife and The Nubian Pharaohs of Egypt: Their Lives and Afterlives.
He earned his PhD in Egyptology from the University of Cambridge in 1995.
He co-wrote an article for The Sun about the Royal Vault at St George's Chapel. He became a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London in 2003.
He is from London, England.
He and Zahi Hawass both contributed to the documentary Egypt's Lost Cities.
