ABOUT AIN ECCLES

Brooklyn-based content creator, online social media personality, Instagram star, and artist who creates multi-media projects that explores how art and psychology connect. She is popular on Instagram under the handle ain.ore, and she currently has 110,000 followers.

Beyond social media, she is a fine artist, art teacher, and graduate of Parsons The New School of Design and Eugene Lang College The New School of Liberal arts, where she earned her BFA in Fine Arts and BA in Psychology.

She first started posting to Instagram in January of 2012. Her art shows how Black women today use technology to take control of their own images and challenge stereotypes about Blackness. She is frequently seen sporting a nose ring in her Instagram content.

She is based in Brooklyn, New York, but spent her life before constantly moving to new cities and countries.

In February of 2023, she posted a video to Instagram showing the installation process of her graduate cohort's art exhibit, set to the Janet Jackson song, "Got 'Til It's Gone."
