ABOUT AKEEM SMITH
Television, film, and stage actor best known for his roles in the BET show Beauty and the Baller and the horror film Vile.
He was raised in Los Angeles where he began acting at the age of 16. He trained with Faith Acting Studios and later the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He played music legend Smokey Robinson in the theater production You're All I Need.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in the greater Los Angeles area.
He appeared in an episode of the Raven-Symoné show That's So Raven in 2004.
