Hall of Fame NHL defenseman and 13-time All-Star who spent his career with the Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues.

He was selected 15th overall by the Flames in the 1981 NHL Draft.

He developed a reputation for having one of the hardest slap shots in the league.

His father, Alex MacInnis, worked as a miner.

He was teammates with Theo Fleury on the Calgary Flames.
