ABOUT AL ROSEN
American actor known in the long running NBC sitcom Cheers as the recurring character Al. He appeared in several films during the 1940s including Uncivil War Birds and Without Reservations.
Beginning his career in 1941, he appeared in the film Footlight Fever. He would later be a production supervisor on What's My Line?.
The episode of Cheers titled Norm and Cliff's Excellent Adventure is dedicated to him.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and died in Hollywood, California.
He appeared in a 1988 episode of L.A. Law which starred Corbin Bernsen for all eight seasons of the show.
