ABOUT ALBANO CARRISI

Italian Albanian singer, actor, and winemaker whose career has lasted more than 70 years. His long-time singing partner was Romina Power , whom he ended up marrying. In addition to his musical success, he had roles in films such as Nel sole, Pensando a te, I promessi sposi, and others. He owns a winery in the town where he was born and raised.

His career began at festivals and Italian song contests such as Disco per l'Estate.

He and Romina Power sang "We'll Live It All Again" at the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest , and the song "Magic, Oh Magic" in 1985.

He still lives in the town he grew up in, Cellino San Marco in Puglia, Italy. In 1970 he married Romina Power, his musical stage partner. They had a son named Yari, and three daughters named Ylenia, Cristel Chiara, and Romina Iolanda. The couple ultimately got divorced. He also has a son and a daughter from Loredana Leccisco, their names are Jasmine Caterina and Ablano Giovanni.

His first wife Romina is the daughter of actor Tyrone Power .
