ABOUT ALBERT WATSON

Defender who debuted for Ballymena United's senior club when he was only 16 years old and went on to win two premierships with Linfield.

He played youth soccer for Ballymena United before being promoted to the club's senior squad.

He captained Northern Ireland's under-23 national team.

He grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Defender Jonny Evans also came from Belfast and played for North Ireland's youth national teams.
