ABOUT ALBERTO GARCíA ASPE
Former midfielder who became one of the all-time leaders in international appearances for Mexico, appearing in 109 matches during his career. At the club level, he is best remembered for his years with UNAM Pumas and Necaxa.
He began his career with UNAM in 1984.
Following his playing career, he became an executive at UNAM Pumas and a commentator for Fox Deportes.
He has a daughter.
He was teammates with Rafael Marquez at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
