She has more than 430,000 followers on her byalexaster Instagram account. She released her original single "Divine" in 2020.

She was born and raised in the US. Her book, Emblem Island: Curse of the Night Witch, was inspired by nighttime stories that were told to her by her Colombian grandmother.

She performed a duet with Romee Strijd on TikTok in 2020.
