ABOUT ALEX CHIASSON

NHL forward who debuted in 2012 for the Dallas Stars. He tallied 35 points across 79 games in 2013-14, his first full NHL season.

He made the 2009 USHL All-Star game while playing for the Des Moines Buccaneers, before attending Boston University.

He scored his first career goal on April 5, 2013, against the Anaheim Ducks, in his second career game.

Despite his career in the United States, his family has stayed in Canada.

As a rookie with the Dallas Stars he played in the first line alongside Jamie Benn .
