ABOUT ALEX ESSOE
Canadian movie actress famous for her roles in Starry Eyes, Midnighters, and The Haunting of Bly Manor . She has worked with Mike Flanagan in multiple movies, including Doctor Sleep . In addition to being an actress, she has worked as a producer and writer on the films Homewrecker and Free to Go.
Her first leading role was in a high school play called Medea. She then began modeling and later attended acting workshops in Toronto and Los Angeles.
She grew up in Saudi Arabia until her family moved to Vancouver when she was 12. While she has starred in a wide variety of productions, she is most known for her work in the horror genre. She has acted in music videos for songs by CUUSHE and Matt Faze.
She was inspired to act by her mother who was a stage actress.
She and Cara Santana starred in The Edge of Sleep.
