ABOUT ALEXANDRE PIRES

Pop music singer and songwriter who rose to fame as a member of the Brazilian group Só Pra Contrariar. In 2001, he went on to find success as a solo recording artist with the release of his self titled studio album.

He began his career by performing his own take on Pagode music.

In 1998, he co-starred in the feature film Cinderela Baiana.

He married Sara Campos in 2008.

He released a tribute album to Julio Iglesias .
