ABOUT ALEXANDER MEYER

Professional goalie and athlete that originally began his club soccer career with the German Bundesliga Squad Hamburger SV as a teenager in the year 2009. Since then, he has played soccer professionally in several leagues across the country of Germany.

As a kid, he played for the VfL Oldesloe youth squad. He later joined the Hamburger SV youth ranks in the year 2005.

He was just 18 years old when he made his professional club debut. He made his official club debut while playing against VfL Bochum. In the year 2022, he signed a multi-year deal with Borussia Dortmund . He is extremely tall, standing at an impressive six feet, five inches.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Bad Oldesloe, Germany.

He primarily plays the position of goalkeeper just like Roman Burki .
