After college, she attended cooking school in Philadelphia. She then spent five years working in catering and restaurant kitchens.
She loves eating and making bread. She spent two years at Fork restaurant in Philadelphia, first as a prep cook and ultimately as the sous chef.
She lived in upstate New York with her husband and four children.
