ABOUT ALFRED ANDERSON

Former running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was a third round pick in the 1984 NFL draft. By the end of his NFL career, he had played for 8 seasons in total.

He attended Richfield High School. He subsequently studied at Baylor University .

In 1984, he made the PFWA All-Rookie team. In his NFL career, he racked up 2374 rushing yards as well as 22 rushing touchdowns.

He and his wife Kimberly had three sons together.

He and Cris Carter were both teammates for the Minnesota Vikings.
