ABOUT ALFRED UHRY
Famous playwright and one of the only writers to be awarded an Oscar, Tony, and Pulitzer. He also wrote Driving Miss Daisy.
He wrote two musicals while studying at Brown University.
In addition to his accomplishments, he was also a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers.
He married wife Joanna and they had four children.
Like talk show host Ira Glass , he attended Brown University.
