ABOUT ALISON COOPER

English business executive best known as the former chief executive officer of tobacco company Imperial Brands. In October 2019, she announced that she would step down when her replacement was found.

She studied mathematics and statistics at Bristol University, and spent a gap year volunteering in Kenya.

She gained fame in 2017 when Imperial Brands reconsidered her pay package after shareholders were concerned about a proposed salary increase.

She has two daughters.

She is one of many famous English business executives, similar to Richard Branson .
