ABOUT ALLY CONDIE
New York Times bestselling-author of the young adult book series the Matched Trilogy. The first book in the series Matched was optioned by Walt Disney Company.
She studied to be an English teacher at Brigham Young University. She taught high school English in Utah and upstate New York.
Her first book series, the Yearbook Trilogy, was published by Deseret Book from 2006 to 2008.
She resides near Salt Lake City with her husband Scott; they have three sons and a daughter. She has two sisters, Elaine and Hope, and a brother named Nic.
She attended the same university as Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer .
