Actor and web personality who attracted international attention after his online defamation of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew resulted in his arrest.

He first gained acclaim when he competed in the The New Paper's First Film Fest, winning the titles of Best Short Film and Best Actor.

After his arrest and trial for the online abuse of Lee Kuan Yew , protests arose over Yee's imprisonment, which was seen as an infringement of free speech.

He was born Amos Yee Pang Sang to computer engineer Alphonsus Yee and mathematics professor Mary Toh Ai Buay. He was raised Catholic but has become an outspoken atheist.

After his wins at the First Film Fest, Jack Neo offered him an internship and role in his film We Not Naughty.
