ABOUT AMY SAYER

Professional soccer player most notable for her role as an attacking midfielder on the Swedish Damallsvenskan League team, Kristianstads DFF. She has also been a key component in the Australian women's national team, the Matildas. She quickly built renown for her unexpected and offensive attacking style, which have helped her make several crucial long-distance goals for her club and national team. She has also played on clubs including Canberra United, Sydney FC, and San Francisco Glens SC.

She earned her primary education from Ravenswood School for Girls and Barker College. While attending, she received special dismissal from attendance so that she could fulfill her international team obligations. She launched her youth career with Northbridge FC and the FNSW Institute.

She graduated from Stanford University with degrees in philosophy and human biology. While attending, she played for the school's soccer team, Stanford Cardinal. She has also expressed a desire to enroll in law school following the consummation of her athletic career.

She is the daughter of Grant and Shirley Sayer. She also has an older brother named Sean.

She has played on the Australian women's national soccer team, the Matilda's, alongside teammates such as Lydia Williams , Mackenzie Arnold , and Steph Catley .
