Cuban singer who released her self-titled debut album in 1987, and it became a success in Japan.

She signed to Parc Records when she was 10 years old in 1984.

She took years off from the music business but returned in 2003 with a Spanish language album under the name Mia.

She moved from Cuba to Miami, Florida with her family in 1979.

She recorded a duet called Angel of Love with Jordan Knight for her 1990 album Body Language.
