Real name Andrea Martinez, she is a pop and R&B singer whose stage name means believe in Wayuu. She released albums called Ni Antes... Ni Después (2013) and Ni Antes... Ni Después "en vivo" (2015).

She first found investors to help her record an album in Mexico after working in different music clubs for about seven years.

She was a 2014 Latin Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist. She also received a nomination for the Lo Nuestro Awards for New Artist of the Year.

She was born and raised in San Cristóbal, Venezuela.

She has stated that her influences include Mariah Carey , Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston .
