Businessman who founded Telemundo, the first Puerto Rican television station, in 1954. It later became the second largest Spanish-language television network in the United States.
He purchased several Puerto Rican radio stations during the 1940s.
He was named Citizen of the Year by the Puerto Rican Institute in New York in 1950.
He was an only child and his father died when he was three years old.
Génesis Rodríguez became one of his network's biggest stars.
