Early in her career, she played the role of Sharon Taylor on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.
She served as the frontwoman of a band called Strawberry Blonde.
She spent her early days in Harrisonville, Missouri. From 2002 to 2007, she was married to NHL player Sheldon Souray .
