ABOUT ANGHARAD JAMES

Welsh midfielder who launched her professional career with Arsenal in 2011. After leaving the club the following year, she went on to become a top player for Bristol Academy. In 2022, she joined Tottenham Hotspur . At the international level, she represented Wales in the 2012 Algarve Cup.

She played youth soccer with Manorbier Girls and Arsenal.

She was the Wales Women's Young Player of the Year for 2013 and 2014. For 2017, she was named the FAW Players' Player of the Year.

Her father, Clive, played rugby for Narberth RFC.

She and Celin Bizet Ildhusøy became teammates in 2022.
