ABOUT ANGHARAD REES
Welsh actress who became known for her role as Demelza in the television series Poldark.
She attended the University of Madrid and later worked as an English teacher.
She created a jewellery design company called Angharad and some of her creations were featured in the 2007 film Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
She was married to Sir David McAlpine from 2005 until her death in 2012. She had two children from a previous marriage.
She starred and toured in a production of Oscar Wilde 's An Ideal Husband.
