Writer and self help author who specializes in marketing driven content for different independent businesses. She is known for her self-titled blog as well as her popular best-selling book Everybody Writes: Your Go-To Guide to Creating Ridiculously Good Content.

She first gained attention after founding the company ClickZ which quickly became one of the first digital marketing information sources. After selling the company in 2000, she began writing her own books.

She was listed by IDM as one of the 7 people shaping modern marketing in 2009. She was also cited in Forbes as a Top Thought Leader.

She lives with her husband and children in Boston, Massachusetts.
