ABOUT ANN-MARIE JOHNSON
Actress and impressionist most famous for playing the role of Nadine Hudson-Thomas in What's Happening Now!! and the role of Althea Tibbs on In the Heat of the Night. She was also a regular cast member of the sketch comedy series In Living Color and has had recurring appearances in series such as Melrose Place and JAG .
She earned a degree in acting and theater from UCLA before making her television debut on the game show Card Sharks in 1979. Some of her earlier credits also include the game shows Child's Play and Body Language.
In 2008, she was elected to be the first national vice president of the Screen Actors Guild.
In 1996, she married her husband Martin Grey.
She had a recurring role in the legal thriller How to Get Away with Murder , starring Viola Davis , Billy Brown , and Alfred Enoch .
