ABOUT ANNA-MARIE STODDARD

Writer and author of In Plain Sight: A True Story of Rape and Kidnapping. The story recounts the events of the summer of 2010, when she was 19 years old. Her boss, then 38 years old, kidnapped her, held her against her will, and raped her repeatedly. She became pregnant but eventually escaped. She uses her annadstoddard TikTok account, which has amassed 190,000 fans, to promote her book, discuss her experience, and vlog about her current life.

She self-published her book in August of 2020.

She went back to university in January of 2020 to pursue a degree in biochemistry and forensic science.

She was married in December of 2014 and has four children.

In June of 2022, she used audio by Kevin MacLeod in a TikTok explaining her coursework in biochemistry.
