ABOUT ANNE STEVENSON
Poet and author who was the 2007 recipient of the Lannan Lifetime Achievement Award. Her numerous poetry collections include Minute by Glass Minute, Travelling Behind Glass, and A Report from the Border.
She studied music at the University of Michigan, graduating with honors in 1954.
She was named the 2007 Poet of the Year by the University of the South.
She had three children with her husband Peter Lucas.
Her biography of poet Sylvia Plath was published in 1989.
