She met Willie Nelson while she was working as a makeup artist on the 1986 film Stagecoach, starring Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Johnny Cash .
She managed a branch of her husband's cannabis company, named Annie's Infused Edibles.
She and her husband married on September 16, 1991. They have two sons named Lukas Autrey and Jacob Micah Nelson .
She is Willie Nelson's fourth wife. He was previously married to Martha Matthews, Shirley Collie Nelson and Connie Koepke.
