ABOUT ANTHONY ESQUIVEL
Actor, soccer player, and coach who famously co-starred in the family film The Big Green . He went on to play for the San Antonio Hammers FC. He later became a USSF National D License-holding soccer coach for the Dallas Texans soccer clubs, the Furman University Camp, the San Antonio Hammers Camp, and the Greenville Futbol Club.
He began playing soccer for the South Texas State Team in 1995, and later for Furman University, where he also earned his bachelor's degree in political science. He was also a member of the Region IV pool in 1996.
He was the only child performer in the cast of The Big Green that actually knew how to play soccer. In 2002, he was officially inducted into the NSCAA All South Division.
He was born in San Antonio, TX.
He co-starred in The Big Green, with Bug Hall , Patrick Renna , Steve Guttenberg , and Olivia d'Abo .
