ABOUT ANTHONY MODESTE

Forward known for his play in the Bundesliga with both for Hoffenheim and FC Köln. After leading the Bundesliga with 25 regular season goals during the 2016-2017 season, he was loaned to Tianjin Quanjian.

He played his youth soccer with Fréjus and Nice. He made his professional debut with Nice in 2007.

He played 16 matches with France's U21 side from 2008-2010, scoring six goals.

He is the son of professional soccer player Guy Modeste.

Both he and Timo Horn played for FC Köln.
