ABOUT APARAJITA MOHANTY
Actress who is known as a veteran of Indian cinema, having starred in dozens of hit films over the years, including Bhakta Salabega (1983), Dharma Nikiti (1999) and Super Michhua (2015). In 2014, she entered the political world, joining the Indian National Congress party.
She made her acting debut in the fantasy film Seeta Labkush (1980) as a teenager.
She received the ETV Priya Odia award in 2009.
She married actor Uttam Mohanty and is the mother of actor Babushan Mohanty.
She co-starred with Sheetal Patra in the romance Premare Premare (2016).
