American actress who had roles in big name films such as Godzilla and National Treasure as well as appearances in big name television series including The Sopranos, Seinfeld, and Law & Order .

She began her career in entertainment in 1992 and has gone on to not only act but to also produce films.

She also had roles in the films Dante's Peak, Feeling Minnesota, and Paper Man.

She was married to Brian Gerber until his death and has two children.

She appeared in the Hugh Laurie vehicle House, which was a long-running Fox medical drama.
