ABOUT ARIEL PINK
Known for such indie rock and psychedelic pop albums as Mature Themes and Before Today, this Southern California-based musician became famous for his beat-boxing skills as well as for his vocals.
He began writing music when he was ten years old, and he went on to attend the California Institute of the Arts. His debut album, House Arrest / Lover Boy, was released in 2002.
In 2008, he collaborated with Kenny Gilmore, Cole M.G.N., and Jimi Hey on the formation of a band called Haunted Graffiti.
Born Ariel Marcus Rosenberg, he grew up in the Los Angeles, California area. Following his divorce from Alisa Daniels, to whom he was married from 2002 until 2005, he had a seven-year relationship with Geneva Jacuzzi.
In 2003, Avery Tare 's psychedelic band Animal Collective signed Ariel Pink to its Paw Tracks music label.
