ABOUT ASAKA SETO
Japanese actress who rose to fame after appearing in the 1992 film Wangan Bad Boy Blue. She went on to give a critically acclaimed performance in the 2002 romantic comedy drama film Travail. Her numerous television credits include Doctor X, Kimi ga kokoro ni sumitsuita, and Raifu.
She was discovered by a talent scout when she was in high school.
She has earned representation from Foster Management. Her performance in Travail earned her a Best Actress award at the 24th Yokohama Film Festival. She began doing commercials in 1993. She has also issued three albums, with the last one coming in 2002.
Her birth name is Megumi Ieda. In 2007, she married Yoshihiko Inohara of the boy band V6.
She and Tatsuya Fujiwara worked together on the cast of the 2006 supernatural thriller film Death Note.
