ABOUT ASH SELF

Actor and comedian best known for portraying the role of Felix in the Netflix original series Heartstopper , based on Alice Oseman 's graphic novel of the same name. He earned substantial renown for helping to increase the representation of both transgender and disabled people in popular media. He performed at his 1st stand-up comedy show in 2021.

He completed the training course to become a Member of the National Youth Theatre in 2017. Later that same year, he made his film debut in the short film Batty Boy. He has since appeared in the 2018 stage production of You Do Not Have to Say Anything and the 2020 short film The Modest Proposal.

He returned to university in 2021 to continue studying for a degree in English and Creative Writing.

He posted a series of photos of his father and mother to his smashself Instagram account.

He joined co-stars Kit Connor , Joe Locke , and Yasmin Finney on Season 2 of Heartstopper.
