Her passion for interior design originated at a very early age; however, a guidance counselor originally discouraged her from pursuing it as a career. She graduated from Heriot-Watt University with Honours, earning a degree in fashion design for industry. She then went on to work in retail for several years before earning a position in purchasing.

She attended the Amazon Creator Summit in Berlin, Germany in March of 2023. She has partnered with numerous home décor and style brands including Laredoute and Tesco. Her posts have highlighted tips and advice on arranging furniture and home accessories, making budget-friendly décor purchases, conquering distinctive DIY projects.

She met her husband when she was just 19 years old. They share a daughter together, who she refers to as their "mini best friend."
