ABOUT ASHOK GEHLOT

Chief Minister of the Indian state of Rajasthan that was elected three different times during his political career. He is a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly as well. He is also a former National General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party.

He first discovered his passion for politics as a young boy in school. He would eventually go on to earn his masters degree in economics and a law degree.

He considers himself to be a Gandhiite and has been a vegetarian.

He grew up living with his family in Jodhpur, India. He has two children with his wife.

He was inspired to enter politics due to the inspiration of Mahatma Gandhi .
