Fifth round draft pick for the Jaguars in 2010 who became a journeyman player for the Chiefs, Lions and Bears.

He was an All-Conference level player at defensive end and wide receiver while also playing basketball at Iola-Scandinavia High School.

He was named the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-American during his final season at Murray State University.

He was born in Evanston, Illinois to Mark and Julie Maher.

He was teammates with tight-end Zach Miller on the Jaguars from 2010 to 2012.
